American Airlines, Inc has engaged World Travel Holdings, Inc., a third party provider, to host the American Airlines AAdvantage Cruises™ award redemption website (“Redemption Cruise Site”) and to provide certain members of the AAdvantage® program with the ability to earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points for purchases with cash, and to redeem AAdvantage® miles for cruise awards through the site.
If applicable, any charges collected in cash for fees or travel protection will appear on your credit card statements as AAdvantage Cruises™ platform. Additionally, if applicable, any remaining balance on the purchase of the cruise not paid for in miles and collected in cash will appear on your credit card statements as a charge from the cruise line booked. Cruise bookings purchased through the Redemption Cruise Site do not qualify to earn AAdvantage® miles from AAdvantage Cruises™ platform, even for portions paid with cash (if you pay for the cash portion of your transaction using an AAdvantage® co-branded credit card, you will earn the standard number of AAdvantage® miles per dollar as specified in your card issuer agreement, but Redemption Cruise Site transactions do not qualify as purchases from American Airlines for purposes of earning bonus miles).
To redeem miles for your cruise vacation, member must use AAdvantage® miles or a combination of miles and money to cover cruise fares, taxes, and fees for each guest in the reserved stateroom; amount of miles needed varies by sailing and stateroom. The portion of the cruise price that is not paid in miles must be paid for in U.S. dollars.
American Airlines reserves the right to establish eligibility criteria for redemption of awards. All redemption requests are subject to availability. Each member must have sufficient miles in his or her AAdvantage® account to complete the transaction. Your miles will be deducted at the time of purchase. In the event that miles have not been properly debited from your account at the time of redemption, miles can be debited by American Airlines at any time. Miles redemptions may only be made from a single account per transaction. You may not combine miles from two or more accounts on a single transaction. In its sole discretion, American Airlines may permit members to purchase cruises using a combination of miles and money. If you have insufficient miles you will be ineligible to make purchases using miles and money. The amount of miles or miles and money necessary for a transaction will be set by American Airlines in its sole discretion, are subject to change and may vary by member. Any money portion of any purchase must be paid with a major credit card. All purchases are governed at all times by the AAdvantage® terms and conditions, which can be viewed here.

AAdvantage Cruises’s Price Match Guarantee
How Does It Work?
If you find a lower price on another website, you can get 110% of the price difference.
Here’s how it works:
To qualify for AAdvantage Cruises’s Price Match Guarantee, the less expensive cruise must be:
* AAdvantage Cruises’s Price Match Guarantee applies only to the cost of the cruise (including port charges). It does not apply to promotional extras or bundled amenities such as onboard spending, beverage packages, Wi-Fi, gratuities, shore excursions, group deals, air or land components, transfers, pre- or post-cruise hotel stays, or other value-added components. We will match the fare price only, not the total value of additional perks offered by other sellers.
AAdvantage Cruises’s Price Match Guarantee applies only to cruise rates available to the general public. It does not apply to consolidator, group, incentive, interline, meeting, or convention rates that are not available to the general public. Taxes and fees, which vary by itinerary, are not included. AAdvantage Cruises reserves the right to refuse the price match should the lower price not be available to independently confirm with the competitor. AAdvantage Cruises reserves the right to refuse the price match for any errors in prices by the competition. If your price match request is approved, it will be fulfilled within 7-10 business days of approval. Exact method of fulfillment will be based on several factors, including the amount currently paid toward the booking. AAdvantage Cruises reserves the right to modify or cancel the Price Match Guarantee at any time without prior notice or liability to you.

- An exact match (same ship, sailing dates, cabin category, etc.) to the original cruise that was booked within the last 48 hours;
- Priced in USD;
- The same rate that you previously booked and one that you’d be eligible to receive (residency rates, age-related discounts, etc.);
- Verifiable and available for booking when you contact us.
